I had the great honor of serving on the Pasco School Board from 2013 to 2023. Being a father to four Pasco School District Students (currently elementary, middle school, high school, graduate) gives me a unique perspective on what families are experiencing. The Pasco School District currently faces a budget challenge. My analytical approach and institutional knowledge of school district operations are assets in dealing with the challenge of being efficient with the available funding. Another challenge is not becoming complacent in educational excellence due to tightened budgets. I believe all students can succeed, and continuous improvement in student performance is attainable using innovation and collaboration to support our students and staff during challenging times. My core values include Listening and Acting With Integrity. My record of listening to the community and then advocating and working as a team at the board level to implement solutions, will make the board more effective. I will advocate for clear communication with the community, along with increases in academic achievement. I ask for your vote and trust that I will again be a responsible steward of our most valuable assets; our students and our education tax dollars!
